We can show you how to guide your children to become more: confident, motivated and self-reliant about schoolwork and homework thorough and careful with homework and classwork organised about belongings and time-keeping skilled in "school success strategies" and academic basics successful at reaching their potential confident socially The New Learning Centres Family Learning Sessions are for families whose children are experiencing problems, whether mild or severe, with learning, behaviour, confidence, social skills, motivation or study skills.

During our private Family Learning Sessions the parents and children learns and practises new skills for achieving Calmer, Easier, Happier homework and home life. In the sessions, one of our senior tutors will teach your child. We always start at the child's current level, and keep gently but firmly stretching him, so that he makes the most rapid and most solid progress he is capable of. We use our own materials or the school's materials, as appropriate. As well as teaching your child academic skills, more productive work habits and more positive attitudes, we explain the principles and demonstrate the methods so that you can learn to work effectively with your child without needing ongoing support from us. Very often, even just a few Family Learning Sessions are enough to completely transform homework time, helping your child to achieve his or her potential and enabling parents to keep the atmosphere positive and focused.
