Getting Back in Charge of the Electronics in Your Home
Parents are increasingly worried about how much time children and teens spend in front of a screen. There are growing concerns about what they are watching, the content of the games they are playing, what types of sites they are visiting, what influences they are being exposed to, who they may be getting involved with, and what values they may be absorbing.
In this workshop you will learn practical and effective strategies for getting back in charge of your family’s screen use. Bring all your questions and concerns;
Noel has the expertise and experience to help! |

Bringing Out The Best in Boys
Many boys find life at home and at school more difficult than girls do. Boys often find it harder to sit still, to concentrate, to understand other people’s feelings, have to control their aggression, and they seem to become more easily frustrated. Boys also have many positive qualities that they often don’t get credit for: eg loyalty, energy, single-minded enthusiasm and physical courage.
In this workshop you will find out what boys need from their parents and from school. As you become more aware of how to meet these needs, you can help your sons to become their best selves. |

Making homework enjoyable and productive
Discover new ways to help children and teens do their best with homework, reading, revision and projects.
When children and teenagers are largely cooperative, it’s easy to enjoy being with them, and it’s relatively easy to guide them into good habits. However, when they are argumentative, defiant or distractible, we all know how easy it is to get wound up, to argue back, threaten, nag and shout. With the "Calmer, Easier, Happier Homework" strategies, you will learn how to dissolve these negative patterns and create a more peaceful family atmosphere. |
